forgotten our beloved Children of God.
When
one cares enough to give the very best, it extends beyond life.
At Under My Wing Avian Refuge we can truly claim “They own our soul.” and will remain forever
in our hearts
and memories.
This
page is dedicated to the memory of our family members who have passed
on to a
better place.
We
want to cherish them and remember how much joy they have brought to our
lives
with their own unique personalities and also remember how frail some of
them
were. It
is due to them that our
mission continues and we must preserve their dignity thru our integrity.
We
shall remain strong for all of their brothers, sisters and cousins while
continuing to
cherish their lives and the special place they hold in our hearts. Our Beloved are the driving force
behind us making our organization an ongoing mission; for the sake of all their kind who still need
us to
serve them.
We
do not personally know and rarely do we see any bird refuge, rescue
group or
sanctuary post any information as to what happens to the birds that
pass away
while in their care. Only that they passes. Under My Wing Avian Refuge is prepared
for the
unexpected; our birds are serviced at Abbey Glen Memorial
Park. This is our last obligation not viewed as an expense but with
heartfelt love and with all the due respect to our loved birds as they deserve.
Our
beloved children will live for eternity with God after they have taken
their
last breath. Their ashes and memories will always live with us
at Under My
Wing Avian Refuge and their memories cherished in our hearts.
It
is with deep sorrow that we are parted, but also with great delight to
know
that we have served to the fullest with dignity and respect.
We
