Donations
are crucial to Under My Wing Avian Refuge who relies soley on
your
support to continue to maintain a sanctuary for abused and surrendered
Exotic Birds.
We
wish we could report that an Exotic Bird Rescue
is your most commonly choosen nonprofit
organization in the public eye. Unfortunatelly for the Exptic
Birds care the
majority of people when donating or volunteering their time to
an animal causes will choose
primarly organizations such as: Dog, Cat, Horse and Wildlife
shelters,
leaving the Exotic Bird Organizations like ours off their list.
Donations
and volunteerism are crucial to Under My Wing Avian
Refuge who relies soley on
your
support to continue to maintain our sanctuary and continually care for
the behaviorally and physically challanged, the abused, the sick, the
older, the unatractive and unwanted parrotts in our care.
A year
ago, when the total birds in our care were only 37 the cost of vetenary care, food, toys,
building expense, maintainance
and supplies
was managable, at present with over 100 birds in our care the cost can
be overwelming to say the least.
We thank you in advance with appreciation, as you undertake the task to
encourage and
develop courage in our visionary mission while allowing us to maintain
the
integrity of our purpose.
Your importance of your involment and contribution makes a significate
difference in the lifelihood of each sick, abused, homelss, unloved and
unwanted parrot in our care.
